Terms and Conditions

 

  1. All applications must clearly identify the name and type of the requesting entity (eg School, Agency, Company, Corporation, Group, Organization, Association, Department or Division of BPPR) that you request.
  2. Every request must indicate the primary contact person and liaison with the entity requesting the workshop, maximum two people (a secondary) ("Applicants").
  3. The content and method of workshops, as well as the brand Finance at your Fingertips are property of Banco Popular de Puerto Rico. The workshops are offered free of charge to the public, so any intermediary or contractor (natural or legal person) requesting workshops on behalf of the public or others, will not be able to charge, or receive any payment or exchange of any monetary value for Finance at your Fingertips workshops. The person or entity that violates this provision will be exposed to legal action by Banco Popular.
  4. All requests must indicate the physical address of the place, date and time of the workshop, indications of the room, building, theater, etc. and parking space for the Educator. The workshops are normally offered from Monday to Friday during working hours (8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.), except for companies or other entities grouping adults. Only workshop requests submitted 7 work days prior to the requested workshop date will be approved,except for administrator-approved exceptions. Night schedule workshops for minors must be approved by the administrator *.
  5. Saturday or Sunday workshops will be offered under the exclusive approval of the administrator, except in those cases where Saturday and Sunday are working days for the Educator and / or arrangements are made in their work area to attend a particular audience.
  6. Applicants must provide a screen, projector and computer and these must be properly in place prior to the start of the workshop; the Educator will send the presentation by email or bring it on a mobile device;  if there is internet access and connectivity, the educator can download the presentation (internet / Wifi etc).
  7. Applicants must complete the information of the participants for the registration of each workshop and / or ensure that each participant completes the registration information of participants on workshops by invitation; It is only allowed to include information from participants who are older than (12) years of age. Face-to-face workshops for children under the age of (13) will be requested indicating the number of participants and the communication will be handled directly with the teacher or group leader of said children.   Workshops will not be confirmed without completing the registration of the participants and without completing the exercise of the previous test (Knowledge test in finance before the first workshop for the new participant) for new participants. All participants agree to complete the subsequent test exercise (financial knowledge test during or at the conclusion of the first workshop for new participants). Those existing (not new) participants will have to complete self-assessment (performance indicators for each of the 8 principles of finance) if they have attended more than 90 days of their last completed self-assessment.
  8. The ideal number of participants per workshop is 30 people, however up to 50 people may be allowed to be enrolled per workshop and to be confirmed without the intervention of the administrator *. All workshops with over 50 registered participants will require administrator* approval . workshops with participation of less than 10 people will require approval of the administrator*.
  9.  An Educator will be able to offer a maximum of 6 net hours of workshops per day. As an exception some workshops could reach 100 people by administrator* approval.

Popular's Internet pages and online services are not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age and do not encourage these minors to provide their personal information. Accordingly, our policy is that we do not intentionally collect information from children under thirteen (13) years of age. In the knowledge that we have collected such information, we will comply with the requirements of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), including the removal of such information from our systems. * Administrator is the authorized person or persons acting on behalf of Banco Popular of Puerto Rico in the management of the web platform Finance at your Fingertips. The Administrator is the only person authorized to make changes and updates to the processes of the web platform Finance at your Fingertips.
